March 8         The 5 Mother Sauces

Learn how to make the 5 classic sauces and from there a myriad of variations. Up your dinner game plan with sauces. Bechamel, Veloute, Espagnola, Hollandaise, and Tomato.


$35 per person.      6:30-8:30pm

March 12         Fill the Freezer

Each small group will make a different dish and at the end of the day everyone will share and take them home. Additional recipes and ideas on how to customize them for your family's taste will be provided. Lunch provided. Groceries and take out containers provided.


$90 per person          11am - 5pm

We will be making the following dishes. You will be taking home 2-4 portions of each for the freezer. All recipes included with suggestions for variations. 

Cooking demonstrations throughout the day. Lunch together. Bring all of your food questions.

Also learn what freezes and what doesn't. What is the freezer life of foods.


Marinara Sauce      from scratch, pairs with the pizza dough

Pulled Pork       learn to use the proper cut, learn how to make your own recipe

Chicken Pot Pie      how to make pastry

Chicken Soup       from scratch, don't waste anything

Catalan Stew        something new in a beef stew

Jambalaya           a simple jambalaya with sausage and chicken, how to cook   perfect rice

Curried Meatballs

Pork Tenderloin & Flank Steak     learn to make your own marinades, several   marinade recipes will be provided. This will be our lunch.
